A stolen Cinnamon Capuchin monkey that caused chaos inside a business in Tennessee has been captured and is on his back home, authorities say. Hamblen County Animal Control told NBC affiliate 10News that the monkey, whose name is Chester, was recovered after spending several hours loose in Morristown, Tenn. The monkey made its way into a pawn shop called the Trade Center late Saturday night. The owner said she discovered the unexpected intruder when she arrived the next morning. “There were little monkey messes everywhere,” Loretta Bryant told 10News. She said the monkey had managed to turn on all four sinks inside the shop, scatter wrapping paper, open cabinets and rummage through snack drawers. “There was bags of potato chips busted open,” Bryant said. “There were crackers. I watched him open a pack of (peanut butter and cheese) crackers and eat some.” She said the shop, which has been in business for 50 years, has never experienced anything like it. “In my wildest dreams, I could not have dreamt that,” Bryant said.
