Multiple search agencies including RCMP are looking for three men who were reported missing after setting out on a foraging trip in northern Saskatchewan. Roderick Bird, 49, Emil Ratt, 67, and Ricky McKenzie, 48, were reported missing to La Ronge RCMP on Wednesday. Police say the three men were last reported to be on Highway 165, about 10 kilometres north of Highway 106 near Jayjay Lake at around 6:45 p.m. on July 22. The men were travelling on foot as part of a planned foraging trip. A search is now underway involving Saskatchewan RCMP Search and Rescue, Police Dog Services, the RCMP Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency. According to RCMP all three men were wearing orange vests and sweatpants when they were last seen. Police say they do not have photographs of the men at this time. Police are asking anyone who has seen or spoken with the men, or who may know where they are, to contact them. Police are also asking residents in the Jayjay Lake area to review footage from home security cameras, doorbell cameras and dashcams from the evening of July 22 and throughout July 23. Anyone who captured images or video that may assist the search is asked to contact RCMP.
