A herd of cattle was seen holding its own ‘cow parade’ down Union Avenue in Komoka over the weekend. Dozens of cows escaped a broken fence, running down streets in the village. Lola Smith was alerted via her video doorbell that the cows were passing by, detecting motion on her property. According to police, the cows escaped on two separate occasions over the weekend and community members had to herd the animals back to their field. No injuries, to cattle or otherwise, were reported.
