Just days before Londoners go to the polls to choose their next city council, mayoral candidate Kirsten Krose is offering a plan that would begin implementing her platform within the first 100 days. If elected, Krose commits to bring forward a motion at the first available Council meeting, requesting a coordinated implementation schedule for her priorities. “I have a plan that within the first hundred days, we will have certain tasks that are going to happen,” she told CTV News at an announcement near Victoria Park. “I have five key priorities, traffic, housing, safety, municipal services, as well as taxes.” She will also seek council support for several initiatives including: “My first 100 days will establish the discipline and direction for four years of better services, safer neighbourhoods, and greater respect for taxpayers,” she adds. Krose was joined at her event by Ward 4 candidate Elivis Birindwa. Birindwa expressed support for Krose’s plan, “I spoke to her, her ideas resonate well with me, and honestly I’m rooting for her.” A list of candidates running in the municipal election can be found on the City of London Website. Election Day is Oct. 26.
