Ideal Supply pleaded guilty to Labour Code violations after an employee was injured at their Listowel distribution centre. The Ministry of Labour says that a worker was injured on May 10, 2025, after falling from a ladder while retrieving parts from elevated shelving. The worker sustained injuries from the approximate four-foot fall. Ideal Supply pleaded guilty to not providing the worker with adequate information, instruction, and supervision regarding the safe use of ladders, which is contrary to sections of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. They were fined $70,000.
