The Honoré-Mercier Bridge’s left lane toward Montréal is closed indefinitely following a bridge inspection, Quebec’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility announced Tuesday evening. The ministry said the precautionary closure is expected to cause traffic congestion. “The ministry advises road users who will be travelling in the area to allow extra time to reach their destination,” the ministry wrote. The ministry advises the public to use Québec 511, its online tool for checking road closures and traffic conditions, for the latest updates.
