REM service interrupted between Canora and Côte-de-Liesse due to track problem

REM service remains disrupted Thursday morning, with trains now halted in all directions between Canora and Côte-de-Liesse stations due to a problem on the track.

The interruption had earlier affected the stretch between McGill and Bois-Franc.

The light-rail network says boarding platforms have changed at several stations:

• At McGill station, riders heading toward Brossard should board on Platform 1, while those heading toward Canora should board on Platform 2.
• At Édouard-Montpetit and Canora stations, all boarding and exiting will take place on Platform 2.
• At Côte-de-Liesse station, riders heading toward Anse-à-l’Orme and Deux-Montagnes should board on Platform 2.

The Montreal light-rail network says it is so far unclear when service will resume. An update on the service status will follow around 10 a.m.

Alternative travel options are available on the REM website for interruptions lasting more than 20 minutes. Riders can also use the STM metro and bus network to complete their trips.
