A 23-year-old man is in hospital after a stabbing at a park in Montreal’s Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie borough. Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 12:20 a.m. Friday about the incident on Mont-Royal Avenue and Augustin-Frigon Street. “When officers arrived on the scene, they located a man who was injured to the upper body with a sharp object,” said Florence Stafford, a spokesperson with Montreal police. He was transported to hospital, where he remains in stable condition. A security perimeter has been established to allow investigators to understand the circumstances leading up to the stabbing.
