Coats for Kids campaign kicks off

Published:

SUDBURY -- Coats for Kids is back again as Pure Country 91.7 kicked off their annual campaign to collect coats for the community.

Throughout the day of October 2, Pure Country 91.7 was live at Palladino Honda encouraging listeners to drop off gently used winter clothing.

Clothing of all shapes and sizes is needed this time of year.

"We already have snow happening right now, it's cold outside, and everyone needs to stay warm. You know there are kids going to school in jackets that just aren't warm enough, there are people out on the street who really need these jackets, and this is the easiest way for them to get them. You can go and get any jackets, hats, or mitts at better beginnings better futures community centre, 450 Morin Avenue on Tuesday's and Thursday's between 10 to 1 p.m.," explained Taylor-Anne Pilotte, Pure Country 91.7.

For those interested in dropping off winter clothing, you can do so at Palladino Honda, Pure Country Radio Station and Laurentian Chrysler until November 30.
