Saskatchewan’s minimum wage is set to go up on Thursday but will still be one of the lowest in Canada. Effective on Thursday, Saskatchewan’s minimum wage will increase to $15.70 an hour, up 35 cents from its last update on Oct. 1, 2025. The province determines its minimum wage using a formula tied to the Consumer Price Index. Despite Thursday’s increase, Saskatchewan will have the second lowest minimum wage in Canada, only behind Alberta at $15. Canada’s highest minimum wage can be found in Nunavut at $19.75.
