Two people are facing charges following a break and enter in Regina’s Hawkstone neighbourhood. Regina police say it happened Friday around 8:50 p.m. at a home on the 2800 block of Narcisse Drive. Three suspects had entered the home where one of them assaulted the victim with a baton, while the other two stole several items, according to a news release. Police say the suspects fled when officers arrived, and the victim refused medical assistance when offered. The release states the suspects and victims knew each other. After investigating, officers identified a suspect vehicle. They found two of the suspects inside the vehicle parked at a home in the 400 block of Lorne Street. A 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested and charged with break, enter and commit. The two were taken into custody without incident, and both made their first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Sept. 8. Regina police say the third suspect has been identified, but has yet to be arrested, as the investigation continues.
