‘Move vehicles by 7 a.m.’: Residential street sweeping to begin in Saskatoon

The City of Saskatoon says crews will move into neighbourhoods starting May 4, following early-season sweeping on major routes.

According to the city, operations will progress across Saskatoon in phases.

Temporary yellow no parking signs will be placed at least 36 hours in advance and residents are required to move vehicles by 7 a.m. on the posted day.

“Vehicles left in areas with parking restrictions will be ticketed and relocated,” the city said.

The city says street sweeping is weather-dependent and rain can delay operations and lead to schedule changes.

Residents are encouraged to check their sweep date and updates online at saskatoon.ca/sweep

In Prince Albert, crews will also begin street sweeping during the week of May 4, starting with high‑traffic main roads before moving into residential areas.
