Sask. RCMP investigate suspicious death in Pelican Narrows

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is investigating a suspicious death in Pelican Narrows.

RCMP say officers were called to a home in the northern village at about 3:40 a.m. Thursday after receiving a report of an injured man inside.

Officers arrived and found the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Police say the death is considered suspicious, and the Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Jaden Custer of Pelican Narrows. RCMP say his family has been notified, and victim services have been made available.

RCMP say they continue to investigate and are not able to provide additional information at this time.
