A 23-year-old Saskatchewan woman has been killed in a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Highway 2 near Prince Albert. RCMP say it happened Sunday evening around 7:20 p.m. roughly one kilometre south of the city. Mounties, local fire and EMS all responded, with EMS declaring the victim dead at the scene. She has been identified as a 23-year-old from Sandy Bay, Sask. and her family has been notified. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, and neither he nor his passenger reported any injuries. Prince Albert RCMP are continuing to investigate the incident with help from an RCMP collision reconstructionist.
