The eastbound lanes of Highway 407 are closed in Vaughan due to an investigation, Ontario Provincial Police say. The closure is between Jane Street and Weston Road. Police say all Highway 400 ramps to Highway 407 are also closed. There is no immediate word on what the investigation is about. Police initially closed the highway in both directions but have since reopened the westbound lanes. York Regional Police say Jane Street is closed between Steeles Avenue West and Exchange Way. “No threat to public safety,” York Regional Police said in a post on social media.
