Toronto to see break from last week’s ‘intense summer sizzle’

The intense heat and humidity felt in Toronto throughout last week will be replaced by much more “manageable” temperatures this week, CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter says.

“Last week’s intense summer sizzle has abated,” he said on Monday. “The week ahead looks quite lovely.”

Mainly cloudy skies are in the forecast on Monday with a daytime high of 26 C. Tuesday will see mainly sunny skies, a moderate breeze, and a high of 27 C.

The daytime high could hit 30 C on Wednesday, which will see partly cloudy skies and a lighter south wind.

Showers could come later in the day on Thursday, which is expected to reach a high of 29 C.

A high of 27 C is in the forecast on Friday along with lingering showers that are expected to clear in the afternoon.

Sunshine and warm temperatures are expected over the weekend, which will see daytime highs of 27 C and 29 C, feeling slightly warmer with rising humidity.
