A motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in Abbotsford, B.C., Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities. Officers were called to the intersection of George Ferguson Way and Gladys Avenue around 4 p.m. for reports of a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV, the Abbotsford Police Department said in a statement. “The motorcyclist sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. The driver of the SUV was not injured but was understandably shaken by the incident and is co-operating with police,” the statement from the department said. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service is assisting the Abbotsford Police Department with the investigation. Witnesses and anyone who has dash-cam video from the area at the time of the crash is being asked to call 604-859-5225.
