A fatal collision closed streets in downtown Vancouver for a few hours Saturday morning. Police have not shared any additional information about the crash, telling CTV News only that it was fatal and that a news release would be issued. B.C. Emergency Health Services said it received a call about the incident at 5:30 a.m. and dispatched paramedics to the scene, but no patients were transported. The incident closed Pender Street to traffic between Richards and Granville streets for several hours, prompting TransLink to re-route buses in the area. By 9 a.m., the detours had cleared, according to the transit provider. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
