Pelee Island Winery donating portion of proceeds to Humane Society

Pelee Island Winery is donating a portion of their proceeds to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society (WECHS) in celebration of 100 years.

The winery has created a limited-edition collection of custom-labelled wines in support of the WECHS’ mission. The collection features three wines, like cabernet merlot, chardonnay, and sparkling secco. Each has a unique label, commemorating 100 years of animal welfare.

“Reaching 100 years is a powerful reminder of what compassionate communities can accomplish together,” said Lynnette Bain, executive director of WECHS.

“For a century, our supporters have stood beside animals in their most vulnerable moments, and this partnership with Pelee Island Winery honours that legacy in a truly beautiful way. Every bottle purchased tells a story of kindness and hope – and we invite the community to join us by raising a glass, giving back, and helping ensure the next generation of animals receives the same love and care that has defined our first 100 years.”

$1 from every bottle sold will go back to the WECHS to fund vital programs, like animal rescue, rehabilitation, and community outreach services.
