Three suspects wanted after gun fired at home invasion: WPS

Three suspects are wanted after a gunshot was fired at a home invasion in south Windsor.

Just before 12:30 a.m. Monday, the Windsor Police Service was called to a home in the 600 block of Radisson Court for a report of a person with a gun.

Investigators said the three masked men were armed with a shotgun and handgun and forced their way into the home.

The suspects allegedly pointed the guns at the occupants in the home, demanding money and other belongings. One victim was pushed and had a gun pointed at his face, police said.

Another victim tried to run but was allegedly grabbed by the hair and dragged. The suspects then reportedly forced a victim to open a safe, threatening him and hitting him with a gun.

The WPS said one gunshot was fired in the incident.

A significant amount of money, jewellery, and two cellphones were stolen before the suspects drove off in a 1973 red Ford Mustang, later deemed stolen.

Police found the vehicle in the 100 block of Tecumseh Road East and found a shotgun. Cash was also found.

Two stolen cellphones were tracked and seized at a business in the 2800 block of Dougall Avenue.

The suspects are described as:

• A white man, around 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a red sweater, black pants, a black crossbody bag, and a facemask, armed with a shotgun
• A white man, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask, armed with a black handgun
• A white man, around 25 to 30 years old, wearing a black ski mask, believed to be the driver of the vehicle

The investigation is still ongoing. It is believed to be a targeted incident.

Investigators are encouraging anyone in the area to review surveillance or dash cam footage between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Monday.
