Three-year-old child’s death deemed ‘non-suspicious’: OPP

Essex County OPP say the death of a three-year-old child in Tecumseh was found to be “non-suspicious.”

On Thursday, April 23, at 5:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to Chornoby Crescent to assist Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Tecumseh Fire and Rescue with a three-year-old who was found unresponsive.

Police say life-saving measures were administered unsuccessfully.

The Essex County OPP Crime Unit assisted in an investigation conducted by the Office of the Chief Coroner.

OPP say the investigation is now complete, and the death was found to be non-suspicious.
