RCMP officers in Portage la Prairie, Man., are searching for a suspect after officers received multiple reports of slashed tires at an apartment complex. Investigators said seven vehicles were vandalized in the 700 block of Cedar Bay on Oct. 8, with some of those vehicles having all four tires slashed. Police said a man can be seen on video surveillance around 5:50 a.m. trying to open multiple cars and knocking on apartment doors. Then at 6:30 a.m., police said the man is seen walking up to cars and “making motions towards the tires.” Mounties are now trying to identify the man in the surveillance video and anyone with information is asked to call Portage la Prairie RCMP.
