Suspect caught spray-painting store cameras: RCMP

RCMP in a Manitoba community are asking for help from the public to identify an alleged vandal.

According to Mounties, officers responded to Rapid City Saturday after a convenience store in the community, roughly 30 kilometres north of Brandon, was vandalized overnight.

RCMP said the incident took place at approximately 4 a.m. at a business on Second Avenue. They say a person in disguise spray-painted over the outdoor security cameras. There was no attempted entry into the store and no additional damage was reported.

The suspect appeared to be wearing a long smock, gloves, a face mask, glasses and a hat and either had long red hair or was wearing a wig. RCMP said the gender of the suspect was not known.
