The price of gas increased across the Maritimes overnight while diesel prices decreased in New Brunswick. Nova Scotia The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 3.8 cents in the Halifax area to a new minimum price of 186.9 cents per litre. The price of diesel increased by 5.9 cents. The minimum price is now 226.8 cents per litre. Cape Breton motorists are paying 188.8 cents per litre for gasoline and 228.7 cents per litre for diesel. Prince Edward Island The price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 6.9 cents on P.E.I. The minimum price is now 196.5 cents per litre. Diesel prices increased by 13.8 cents to a new minimum price of 239.7 cents per litre. New Brunswick Regular self-serve gasoline in New Brunswick increased by 4.1 cents. The new maximum price in the province is 187.2 cents per litre. Meanwhile, diesel prices decreased by 5.1 cents following previous increases this week. The maximum price is now 223.7 cents per litre.
