N.S. RCMP seeks public help locating man wanted on provincewide arrest warrant

RCMP in Nova Scotia’s Cumberland County are searching for a man who is wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

Cody Andrew Prudhomme, 31, of Pugwash, N.S., is facing charges of:

• sexual assault
• commits sexual assault while choking, suffocating or strangling
• criminal harassment
• violence against an intimate partner (three counts)
• uttering threats (two counts)
• intimidation (two counts)

Police describe Prudhomme as five-foot-nine, 190 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

“Police have made several attempts to locate Prudhomme and are requesting assistance from the public,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information on Prudhomme’s whereabouts to call 902-667-3859 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
