Passengers will not be able to fly on Air Transat from Ottawa to London, England next year. Air Transat launched non-stop service between the Ottawa International Airport and London-Gatwick last May, with three flights a week. The flights continued until Oct. 23. A spokesperson for Air Transat confirms the Ottawa to London flight is not on the 2027 schedule. “As part of our ongoing efforts to optimize our network, Air Transat will not operate its Ottawa–London Gatwick route in 2027,” the spokesperson said. “We continue to offer year-round nonstop service to London Gatwick from Toronto Pearson and seasonal nonstop service from Montreal. Our partnership with Porter Airlines provides additional connecting options for travellers in Canada to this destination.” Air Canada operates flights between Ottawa and London-Heathrow. Air France offers non-stop service between Ottawa and Charles-de-Gaulle Airport in Paris. According to the Ottawa International Airport, there were 449,016 passengers on international flights through Ottawa between January and September, up from 363,448 passengers during the same period last year.
