Prices at the pumps increased overnight in both Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Nova Scotia The price of diesel went up by 6.2 cents in the Halifax area following an unscheduled adjustment. The new minimum price is 210.2 cents per litre. The Nova Scotia Energy Board says the change is due to a “significant shift in the market price.” The price of regular self-serve gasoline did not change. It remains at a minimum price of 183.1 cents per litre. The energy board said it would adjust the price of diesel again at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday. The price of gasoline will not be affected by the adjustment. Prince Edward Island On P.E.I., the price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 2.3 cents during a regularly scheduled Tuesday adjustment. Islanders are now paying a minimum price of 189.6 cents per litre. Diesel prices increased by 7.5 cents to a new minimum price of 225.9 cents per litre. New Brunswick Prices at the pumps did not change overnight in New Brunswick. Regular self-serve gasoline remains at a maximum price of 183.1 cents per litre. The maximum price for diesel is still 209.7 cents per litre.
