Saint John police search for woman wanted on Canada-wide warrant

The Saint John Police Force is searching for a 34-year-old woman who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

A warrant was issued for Tasheen Cloake on Saturday at 9:30 p.m. after she allegedly violated the conditions of her statutory release. She was last seen in Nackawic, N.B.

Police describe Cloake as five-foot-five, 160 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She has a heart tattoo on her lower back and a flower tattoo behind her left ear.

Cloake is a second-time federal offender. She is serving an aggregate sentence of four years, three months and 25 days for convictions of:

• possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order
• possession of property obtained by crime – over $5,000
• two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon knowing unauthorized
• 10 counts possession of a Schedule I/II Substance for the purpose of trafficking
• break enter and commit

Police are warning the public not to approach Cloake. They are asking anyone who sees her, or has information about her whereabouts, to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
