Two people were sent to hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Fredericton Sunday night. Police, fire and ambulance crews responded to the intersection of Hanwell Road and Woodstock Road around 8:45 p.m. The Fredericton Police Force says a vehicle with three people inside hit a pole. A 20-year-old man who was driving and an 18-year-old woman were taken to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with injuries. Both were treated and later released. Another passenger, a 17-year-old boy, was not injured. The intersection was closed for several hours while investigators were on scene. It reopened around 12:15 a.m. Monday.
