Police are trying to track down a federal offender serving a sentence for manslaughter after they say he failed to report to a correctional centre in Saint John, N.B. The Saint John Police Force says 28-year-old Michael Fallon was last seen leaving the Springhill Institution in Springhill, N.S., on Tuesday. Fallon was supposed to report to the Parrtown Community Correctional Facility – a halfway house for criminals nearing the end of their sentence – in Saint John, but police say he failed to do so. A Canada-wide warrant has now been issued for Fallon for allegedly violating the conditions of his statutory release. Police say Fallon is a first-time federal offender serving an eight-year, two-month and eight-day sentence for the following convictions: Police are warning the public not to approach Fallon.
