The Angus L. Macdonald Bridge will be closed to all vehicle traffic overnight Tuesday and Wednesday to facilitate repairs to a section of asphalt on the bridge deck. The bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic during the following times: When the bridge reopens Wednesday and Thursday morning, Halifax Harbour Bridges says traffic will be reduced to two lanes – one lane in each direction – while the lane undergoing repair remains closed. “The repaired lane is expected to remain closed until later Thursday to allow the new asphalt sufficient time to fully cure and harden before being reopened to traffic,” reads a news release from Halifax Harbour Bridges. “HHB appreciates the public’s patience as these necessary repairs are completed and encourages bridge users to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.” For more Nova Scotia news, visit our dedicated provincial page
