The federal government will spend more than $2 million to support four Nova Scotia lobster businesses. Jessica Fancy, MP for South Shore-St. Margarets, announced the funding through the Regional Tariff Response Initiative. In total, $2,150,000 will be spent to support lobster processors as they modernize operations, adopt new technologies and expand capacity to strengthen productivity, supply chains and market reach, according to a news release from the government.
