Police say a Nova Scotia man has been arrested for impaired driving following a 911 call from another motorist early Wednesday morning. RCMP officers responded to a report of an eastbound Subaru swerving in its lane on Highway 3 in Hubbards around 4:15 a.m. It was reported that the driver briefly pulled over near Fox Point Front Road before continuing east. An officer found a vehicle matching the Subaru’s description in a parking lot on Hammonds Plains Road in Upper Tantallon. The driver got out of the Subaru and the officer spoke with him. Police say the 35-year-old man from Barrs Corner was showing signs of impairment and he was arrested. He was taken to the nearby Tantallon RCMP Detachment where he gave a breath sample. The driver then allegedly refused to give a second sample.
