The RCMP has ended an emergency alert Wednesday evening advising residents in Chelsea, N.S., about a “dangerous man.” According to the original alert, which was issued at 5:57 p.m., there was a report of a man with a weapon in the area of Highway 210 and Old Chelsea Road. “As a result of ongoing investigative efforts, officers no longer believe there’s a risk to public safety,” police said in a social media post around 9 p.m. “Investigators remain in the area as they continue the investigation.
