Police are investigating a report of shots fired in North Preston, N.S., on Monday. The RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report that shots were fired from a white SUV near the intersection of Cain and Clarence streets around 7:50 p.m. There were no reports of injuries. The RCMP is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact police at 902-490-5020 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. The investigation is being led by the General Investigative Section of the RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, with assistance from the RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
