Police in Kensington, P.E.I., dealt with three different incidents where drivers fled from officers Sunday night. The first involved a motorcycle travelling at around 170 km/h, according to a social media post from the Kensington Police Service. Police say the second incident involved a dirt bike riding through town without any lights and the driver refused to stop. The third incident involved a stolen vehicle that also failed to stop. “Fleeing from police is not a game, it is an extremely dangerous criminal offence that puts innocent motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and our officers at unnecessary risks,” reads the post. Kensington police have identified the motorcycle and dirt bike drivers and charges are pending. The driver of the stolen vehicle hasn’t been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
