An early morning collision has closed parts of Highway 26 in Springwater, Ont., according to provincial police. A social media post from OPP shared early Tuesday morning states the collision was between a passenger vehicle and a truck. Hwy. 26 is closed between Strongville Road and Richardson Road near Edenvale. OPP say emergency crews are responding to the situation. There is no word yet on injuries as passengers are being assessed. Residents are asked to take alternate routes as police warn a lengthy closure may be necessary.
