An ambitious young goat at an Ontario farm proved that when there are tasty leaves involved, sometimes mom can give you just the boost you need. A video shared by Big Curve Acres Farm in Oro-Medonte shows Smarties, a baby goat, climbing onto the back of her mother, Coco, to reach some tempting greens hanging from a tree. In the social media video, Smarties is seen balancing on her mom’s back, stretching as high as she can to nibble on the branches. Meanwhile, Coco seems unfazed by her daughter’s antics. She patiently stands her ground while Smarties uses her as a four-legged stepping stool. The casual glance toward the camera suggests Coco knows exactly what her kid is up to. “Coco sure has incredible patience to deal with all her kids’ shenanigans,” the farm wrote over a Friday social media post. “But she’s definitely giving me the look of, ‘Are you seeing what I have to put up with?’” Smarties has a twin brother, Reece, who also appears in the video happily munching on the grass. The pair are Coco’s babies. The moment between the two has become another example of the everyday animal adventures that have been attracting attention to Big Curve Acres Farm’s social media page. The page was started back in February by Sarah, whose family owns and operates the farm. Sarah told CTV News she previously shared animal content on her personal social media before deciding to create a page dedicated entirely to the animals. Big Curve Acres Farm is family-owned and run by Henry, Reta, Christine and Sarah. It is nestled along Highway 11, just off Line 11, between Barrie and Orillia. While the farm previously offered tours, it is not currently open to the public. For now, viewers can enjoy Coco, her babies and the rest of the animal crew through its social media.
