A Thunder Bay Police Service drug trafficking investigation has three men being charged after an Ogden Street area home was searched by officers. “A Sept. 23 search led to the seizure of roughly four grams of suspected crack cocaine and under one gram of suspected fentanyl, along with other items associated with drug trafficking,” police said in a news release Friday. “During the search two suspects were located and arrested, and later that same day officers located and arrested a third suspect.” “A search of the suspect led to the seizure of a loaded firearm, as well as over 100 grams of suspected cocaine, 27 grams of suspected fentanyl, and 9 hydromorphone tablets,” police said. Street value of the seized drugs is $25,000. A 40-year-old Thunder Bay man faces numerous charges including drug trafficking, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm. A 49-year-old Thunder Bay man and a 46-year-old Thunder Bay man both face two counts of drug trafficking. The accused were remanded into custody following their first court appearance.
