Drivers who use Memorial Drive as part of their commute to get into downtown Calgary had to choose a different route on Monday morning. At 8:30 a.m., officials said a tractor-trailer stopped in the eastbound lanes of the road between Crowchild Trail and 14 Street N.W. It blocked the road for about an hour. The incident led to significant traffic delays. The scene was cleared about an hour later. Police did not say how the truck got stuck.
