The Regina Thunder remained undefeated after another dominating 37-13 win over the Saskatoon Hilltops Saturday night. The red-hot Thunder offence started the game slowly, holding a narrow 7-6 lead heading into the second half. However, the team managed to catch its rhythm and poured on 30 points for the rest of the game against the rival Hilltops. According to the unofficial stats, Regina managed 349 yards of net offence to Saskatoon’s 292. Standout Thunder running back Peter Boersch rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns, according to the unofficial box score. In another stout performance from Regina’s defence, defensive back Jacob Fehr made six tackles, including a tackle for loss and defensive lineman Jonny Kampen recorded a quarterback sack. The Thunder have now improved to 5-0 in 2026. Their next game is slated for Sunday, Sept. 20 in Winnipeg against the Rifles.
