Edmonton police say three dogs who attacked a man near a west end field early Wednesday morning have not yet been found. Multiple reports of a dog attack in a school field at 131 Street and 111 Avenue were called in just before 3 a.m. A man was attacked by two large black dogs and one white dog, witnesses said. EMS said at the time the man was found and taken to hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries. Police later said he remained in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police also say the dogs were known to the man but didn’t clarify whether he was the owner. Officers looked for the dogs but were “unsuccessful,” a spokesperson added. The search continues as of Wednesday evening.
