Police in Fort Saskatchewan are warning the public about a non-existent craft fair being advertised at the Dow Centennial Centre. The fake event, called the Northern Prairie Craft, Food & Vendor Fair is advertised as happening from June 26 to June 28. RCMP say the venue has no knowledge of the event, and officers have spoken to at least one vendor who lost money when they attempted to sign up to sell at the fair. Anyone who has been a victim of fraud is urged to report it to their local law enforcement agency and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre by calling 1-888-495-8501.
