Gwar, the shock-rocking American metal band, is playing an outdoor concert in Edmonton this fall. Gwar is celebrating 40 years with The Return of Gor Gor Tour, which will come to Ice District on Nov. 1. The heavy-metal group, whose origin story revolves around intergalactic monster warriors, is known for their elaborate costuming and artistic, interactive performances. The concert will feature additional performances from Helmet, The Dwarves and Blood Vulture. Tickets go on sale Friday on Ticketmaster.
