A man pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Tuesday in the death of 34-year-old Clinton Quintal. Irvin Badarm was sentenced to four years in prison. Credited for time he already spent in custody, he will be released in late February. He was originally charged with second-degree murder. Quintal died from multiple stab wounds on May 15, 2024, in the Kingsway area. The other person charged with second-degree murder in Quintal’s death, Adam Chinery, pleaded guilty to accessory to murder late last year and was sentenced in February to three years.
