A 38-year-old man was stabbed in south Edmonton Wednesday night. Police said officers responded to a weapons complaint in the area of Ellerslie Road and 91 Street around 5 p.m. It was reported to police that the man and a 39-year-old woman were walking in the neighbourhood when they got into a verbal argument with a group of four other adults. The argument escalated and the 38-year-old man was stabbed. Police located and arrested a 30-year-old man in relation to the incident and say charges are pending. The stabbing victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
