Police say an Edmonton senior who went missing walking her dog was found safe. Police issued a release about the 73-year-old on Tuesday night, more than 11 hours after the woman had left her house to walk her dog near 13 Avenue and 74 Street SW. Police said she left her home to walk her dog, a shih tzu, at about 5:45 a.m. and never returned home. Her family said it is “extremely uncharacteristic” of her not to come home after a 90-minute walk and they were worried for her wellbeing. At 5:51 p.m., police said the woman and her dog had been found safe.
