Rogers Place will host Simple Plan in January with the expansion of the band’s 25th-anniversary world tour. The band has been touring the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Australia. The 14 Canadian concert dates announced by Live Nation on Tuesday mark the band’s first Canadian headlining tour in 10 years, according to organizers. The band will start in B.C. before stopping in Edmonton on Jan. 29 and Calgary on Jan. 31, before making its way east across the country over the course of February. Yellowcard and Bowling For Soup will also take the stage in Edmonton. Tickets go on presale Tuesday and general sale on Friday. $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Simple Plan Foundation, which helps young people in need.
