People using GO train service from Kitchener or Stratford this weekend will need to plan for some extra travel time. There will be no GO train service between the Kitchener and Stratford stations to the Mount Pleasant station on July 25 or July 26. Instead, they will be replaced with buses. Some buses will also be running between the Stratford or Kitchener stations and the Highway 407 bus terminal where travellers can connect to the TTC. GO trains will still run between Mount Pleasant and Mount Dennis GO stations, but there will be no service between Mount Dennis and Toronto’s Union Station. Service will resume on Monday, but all train trips departing from Stratford and Kitchener will be leaving five minutes earlier and arrive five minutes later. The changes are due to ongoing line construction.
