A mainly cloudy start to the week in London and towards the Sarnia, Chatham area, according to CTV News meteorologist Julie Atchison. “Midwestern Ontario, you have a nice mix of sun and cloud. Temperatures much more comfortable today than they were last week,” she said. “Temperatures feeling close to 30 as we head through the afternoon. We do have some showers off to the south, an area of low pressure continuing to kick up a little bit of light rainfall. But as we head through central Huron-Perth, Grey Bruce, just a beautiful day underway.” According to Atchison, late afternoon will be mainly cloudy, especially along that northern shoreline of Lake Erie as a weak area of low pressure brings some very light rainfall. “In London, about a 40 per cent chance of showers. High pressure building in over the next couple of days. We have lots of sunshine in the forecast this week and temperatures summer like daytime highs climbing between 20 and 30 degrees.” The next opportunity for measurable rainfall will come in as we hit Thursday night.
